President Trump on Sunday touted GOP-backed tax reform efforts as Senate Republicans look to pass legislation this week.
"Back in D.C., big week for Tax Cuts and many other things of great importance to our Country. Senate Republicans will hopefully come through for all of us. The Tax Cut Bill is getting better and better. The end result will be great for ALL!" the president tweeted.
Trump's tweet came shortly after he touched down in Washington after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Senate Republicans and the Trump administration are aiming to score their first legislation victory this week since taking control of Congress and the White House in January.
The president will head to Capitol Hill on Tuesday in an effort to push tax reform legislation.
There are several Republicans in the Senate who have yet to say whether or not they will vote for the measure, including Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), according to ABC News.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said last week he would not vote for the bill.
Trump rallied House Republicans earlier this month ahead of their tax reform vote.
