• European stocks were marginally lower on Friday morning despite positive sentiment in the U.S.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 was 0.10 percent lower with most sectors moving into the red. Construction and material stocks were the biggest losers in early trade. This comes after the Irish building materials firm CRH looks to have been outbid in the race for U.S. cement maker Ash Grove. CRH shares fell 2 percent on the news.
